Since 2013 I have been working in Brno as a dramaturge, editor and researcher.

I studied theatre dramaturgy at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno in the studio led by a dramaturge Petr Oslzlý. I am currently studying doctorate at the Department of Theatre Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. I completed a study internship at LMTA in Vilnius in the directing studio led by Jonas Vaitkus and a research internship at Justus Liebig University in Giessen at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies.

As a dramaturge, I participated in productions at Studio Marta (A. Burges: A Clockwork Orange; R. Schimmelphennig: The Golden Dragon) and Divadlo na Orlí Theatre (L'amour: Experiment). I have also participated at productions in various Czech theatres (Činoherák Ústí nad Labem, Divadlo Rozmanitostí theatre, HaDivadlo theatreJosef Kajetán Tyl theatre in Plzeň and Municipal theatre Most) and I have cooperated on projects with artistic ensembles and creators of various genres and styles (Andreas Ammer, F. M. Einheit, Matyáš Dlab, Barbara Herz, Brno Contemporary Orchestra, Indigo Company).

As an editor, I participated in the creation of several theatre magazines: a zin at the UM UM 2018 festival, the samizdat subversive festival zin Splav at the Ostravar 2018 festival (under pseudonym Mix Halda) and the festival newsletter Snář at the Dream Factory Ostrava 2019 festival.

In 2019, Barbora Liška and I founded the CEDIT journal, published by the Centre for Experimental Theatre Brno (CED). Currently, I am a member of its collective editorial board. The magazine aims to explore topics that connect the individual scenes of CET and resonate with the current discussions on culture and society. In 2020, we established a performative research seminar called CEDIT_observer for students of theatre studies at Masaryk University in Brno and Palacký University in Olomouc. The seminar evolved into an open performative lab called CED_observer. In 2021, the editorial board of CEDIT (Barbora Liška, Jakub Liška, and Petr Kubala) received the Divadelní noviny award for the publication in the field of theatre. As member of CEDIT, I co-organize all-day events, workshops, and discussions on culture and society. Additionally, I work as a member of the HaDivadlo lecturer team within CET and occasionally collaborate with the Terén platform.

My research focuses on the relationship between culture and society. Specifically, my dissertation research examines metadramaturgy and how social conditions (institutional, political, economic, etc.) influence dramaturgy. I use Brno as an example to illustrate this relationship. In another study, I discussed the public self-presentation of theatre directors and artistic directors and how it relates to their position within the theatre field. I also explore various options for modelling dramaturgy, theatre lecturing, cultural systems, cultural policies, relationship between activism and art, art education, and culture mapping.

My artworks combine performing arts and activism. As a member of the performance group MASOBETON, we create performative essays that critically respond to the local, social, and spatial contexts: MASOBETON [demo (2018), καλοκαγαθία (2019), Plot No. 1736 (2019), Into DNA andRNA (2019), Chimaera (2020), Vodotok (2020), nePokoje (2021), In honour of our Lady Božena Němcová (2021).

I am also a member of the clown-activist collective N.A.Toˇ - Nose Assembly for Tommorowˇ , which is organised by tYhle collective. We create a network of clowns and activists from all over Europe and we test with them the possibilities of connecting art and activism.

For tYhle I also create a communication strategy and participate in the creation of the content of their promotional materials and the preparation of their grant applications.
